The Serbian language has more than 16 million native speakers. It's a Slavic language that uses both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabet. This language has very rich system of inflection, morphological alternations and many deviations from various grammatical rules, as well as some other things specific to the language. It is definitely a difficult language to learn for people who have never had any contact with Slavic languages.
