The fourth installment to be produced as part of the Kamen Rider Series, the series aired in Japan from late 1974 to early 1975 on the NET TV. It was the shortest Kamen Rider series ever, lasting only 24 episodes.

Daisuke Yamamoto as Kamen Rider Amazon, an orphan lost in the Amazon has grown up with an Amazon tribe and lead a peaceful life until his tribe was attacked by Gorgos, slaughtering everyone except himself in search for the powerful "GiGi Armlet", which gives the bearer fantastic power.Before dying, his tribe elder turned Daisuke into Kamen Rider Amazon. This was the first Kamen Rider not to use a belt to transform. This was also the first series not to have any previous Kamen Riders appear.
