A factory calibration of the kV imager that adjusts the analog voltages from the charge amplifiers to match the voltage range of the analog-to-digital convertors. This is to maximize the digital precision of the acquired kV images. On rare occassions the analog offset calibration may have to be repeated on kV image detectors installed in the field.
