A professional who supervises and coordinates activities of fur-floor worker and fur dresser engaged in fleshing, plucking, shearing, and shaving fur pelts to prepare pelts for manufacturing. Respnsibilities include:

• Examines pelts during dressing process to determine cleanliness and suppleness of skins and softness and sheen of hair of furs.
• Trains workers in setting up and operating machines and equipment.
• Performs other duties as described under supervisor master title.
• May be designated according to operation supervised as fleshing supervisor; fur-floor worker supervisor; shearing supervisor.
