• Turns setscrews and moves guides on machine to hold specified insoles.
• Positions insole against guides and presses switch to start machine that cuts score across heel seat of insole.
• May make cut in toe of welt insole to prevent puckering when stitched to shoe upper and be designated insole-toe-snipping-machine operator.
