A professional who operates machine to sharpen cylinders of circular saws used in linter machines. Respnsibilities include:

• Removes saw cylinders from linter machine and mounts cylinder in feeding head of sharpening machine.
• Examines saw blades to determine amount of cut necessary to sharpen them.
• Turns handwheels to set cutting control to specified depth of cut for saw teeth, and to adjust space between cutting tools.
• Starts machine and observes operation.
