net interstate flow of electricity

The difference between the sum of electricity sales and losses within a state and the total amount of electricity generated within that state. Apositive number indicates that more electricity (including associated losses) came into the state than went out of the state during the year; conversely, a negative number indicates that more electricity (including associated losses) went out of the state than came into the state.
