Part of the XI system, a position sensor located in the treatment room for tracking the patient's respiratory cycle and range of motion. Dots on the marker block reflect infrared light back to the camera, which captures the signal. The software then uses this signal to track and analyze the motion of the dots, which corresponds to motion of the chest or abdomen. See also respiratory gating.
